We had chosen TurboJet as the ferry is claimed to be faster and more comfy...well...it actually din felt very fast though =p The planned trip was to take the route to HK International Airport, who knows, the route Macau-HKIA is ONLY FOR CHECKED IN PASSENGERs flying off at HKIA. So we bought the Macau-HK route thinking we will arrive at Kowloon. We ended up at Central, Hong Kong Island.

HK FERRY TERMINAL - PANDA HOTEL (Tai Wo Hau)

Panda Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in the Tsuen Wan Area, about 25 min by MTR from Kowloon area. Piggy and Mousy are extremely satisfied with the great service Panda Hotel and the staff member showered us with during the two day stay. The closest MTR station to Panda Hotel is Tai Wo Hau Station.

Octopus cardis by far the most convenient piece of plastic next to credit card in HK.
In Hong Kong, octopus card can be used widely not only for MTR but also for public transportation (bus etc), convenience stores (7-11 etc) , fast food shops, supermarkets and the list goes on....

The first few tourist spots that we went was Sai Yong Choi Street, Fa Yuen Street and Tung Choi Street. No worries, HK is extremely tourist friendly! There are plenty of road signs and very friendly maps provided by HK Tourism Dept to guide tourist around. These few streets along with Temple Street are very much like the Petaling street in KL.

Hui Lau Shan is among the biggest chain dessrt store in HK and honestly they lived up to the name. Anyone visiting HK should really grab a dessert from this shop to understand the reason behind Hongkies liking for dessert.

Symphony of Light, is one of the must see FREE show at TST waterfront. It's a show of lights and laser covering 44 buildings on both side of Victoria Harbor. The technology was developed by Australian firm Laservision and cost approximately 44 million HKD. Yeah, it's free and holds a Guinness World record for being the largest light show. Show starts daily at 8pm and lasts 14 minutes.
